PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Professional Development
______

Are you a healthcare professional, school district representative, school administrator or teacher? Are you ready to learn innovative interventions to disrupt the status quo in order to change the lives and learning of the students you serve?

By far, the most important challenge that we face today is the unprecedented rise of learning and neurobehavioral disorders in children. These children often have IEP's (Individual Education Plans) in school and require interventions that are increasing with demand.  What is not increasing is support to the legislature that provides funding for these interventions, and those who serve these children from the district on down are often seeking something more they don't even know exists.

Education informed by neuroscience can give new and real meaning to our desire as a nation to leave no child behind. Moreover, it may offer the only true opportunity for the disruptive change that education needs for current and future generations to be educated to face the challenges ahead.

In most children, their strengths outweigh their weaknesses.  In kids with learning and behavioral problems, these weaknesses overwhelm their natural strengths and result in their inability to progress.

Are you aware of the increasing numbers of learning disabilities and comorbidities that challenge the infrastructure you work in?  Are you forced to limit interventions due to funding or third party pay?  This is the time to work smarter not harder, when it comes to creating programs that work, to support attention, memory, visual processing, auditory processing, sensory integration, and executive functioning.

Scientific research has demonstrated that the brain is plastic (it can change) and that the right kind of training develops new and stronger neural connections. Research is also showing the importance of skills like working memory, visualization and visual-auditory integration to academic and life success.

My professional development program helps the educators build the necessary foundation for learning - reading, writing, math and any subject matter.  It shows how to specifically train the underlying skills that enable students to learn more efficiently.  By helping to secure the foundation for learning, you will be helping to fill in any missing gaps of the student's development.  My virtual programs provide education and coaching in primitive reflex integration, brain hemispheric balance with sensory stimulation, and cerebellum development to bring optimal results, and training on specific tools that can be used in schools as well as clinic settings…. all in the convenience of your office or workspace.

Together we will focus on accelerated outcomes and greater access to care for all students, serving professionals around the world.*
